Delmar Financial Company was founded by Saul and Carl Mirowitz in 1966 as a mortgage banker that services and underwrites its own home loans. After a brief stint in the real estate side of the market, the Mirowitz brothers decided to pursue the mortgage aspect of the business. Their vision led to the creation of the second oldest privately owned mortgage company in the St. Louis area.

Tallahassee is the capital of the U.S State of Florida. During 2015, the populace recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau stood at 189,000, while Tallahassee metro documented 377,900 residents. It is the 126th largest city in the United States. Tallahassee is served by Tallahassee Regional Airport. As per the United States Census Bureau Tallahassee encompasses a total area of 254.5 square kilometers of which 247.9 square kilometers is land and 6.6 square kilometers or 2.59% is water. As per the 2010 Census 181,376 people, 74,815 households, 27.7% were married couples living together, 14.4% had a female householder with no husband, and 53.7% were non-families. 34.1% of all households were made up of individuals living alone and 6.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. For the period 2009–2013, the estimated median household income was $39,524, and the per capita income was $23,778. The number of persons below the poverty level was estimated at 30.2%.
