Per CNNMoney.com Lowering Mortgage Rates to 4.5% may not be the answer to saving the real estate market. While Treasury officials are not saying, lobbyists said Thrudsay it is aimed at teducing rates to 4.50%. The 4.5% rate would only apply to peope buying homes, not refinancing.
